Location, Props and Costume

Location:

I decided to do my location for the photoshoot in my front root, as it was very spacious when moving the sofa away from the way, allowing my model to be able to move into different positions. I was able to take advantage of the natural light coming in from the window. I didn’t want any of my pictures to have a background when shooting with my model (Fleur East). Other pictures I used such as Miley Cyrus was taken at the O2 arena in London when I went to see her at The Bangerz Tour in 2014. I fitted with the magazine so I decided to use it as the pose and the picture looks very professional. Another Image on my contents page was taken at Disney Land in America from September 2015, when I watched the parade. I thought it would link with my age group as every teenager dreams of going to Disneyland Orlando, so I used it for my competition photo.

Costume:

I used the same outfit on my model for all three shots, apart from one when I added a leather jacket to change the look. My model is wearing a grey high neck belly t-shirt, black skinny jeans, grey leather jacket with a gold chain necklace. She also shows her tattoos which gives the image a different edge. In the Miley Cyrus picture, she is wearing a high rise one piece which has the pattern of American notes on, cowboy boots, a backpack and green glasses.

In the Miley Cyrus picture, the props used was sunglasses and a backpack to complete the image and represent the wildness in her. In the Disneyland picture the props used include the float with Minnie and mickey mouse featured on them and Cinderella and prince charming castle featured in the background. When having a photoshoot with my model we didn’t really use props and we focused on the different poses she could use instead to make the picture very dominating by using eye contact and sexual poses.
